Wipe clean the mat using a wet cloth with or without mild soap (i.e. dish soap), a broom or a vacuum cleaner. Please refrain from using harsh chemicals, bleach, alcohol or acid. Swiffer wet pads are not recommended as they contain solvents that may cause discoloration. Prevent water or liquid from getting trapped beneath the mat. Our mats are waterproof and an extended contact with moisture or liquid confined under the mat could lead to the development of mold or mildew and potential damage to your mat. Certainly! In fact, V-MAT is a dream come true when it comes to pets (and this is from our own personal experience). Since V-MAT doesn’t have fibers or pile, it doesn’t absorb messes your pet leaves behind, such as muddy or wet paws, spills, dirt, saliva, or other accidents. If the V-MAT gets dirty, simply wipe it clean with a wet cloth or antibacterial wipe.

Our products are made to order and are typically produced and ready to be shipped within 4-6 business days and no longer than 12 business. Custom orders might take an additional 3-5 business days to create the design. If you wish to rush your order, please contact us.

We welcome any custom job – size, color, and even shape!. We can fulfill most common requests, but please note that V-MAT is limited to 10 feet wide and 75 feet (25 yards) long. Ordering samples in advance is recommended so you can see the true colors in person first. Also, before we send the design to production, you can request a digital proof for your review and approval. Custom orders may take 3-5 additional business days to prepare the file for production.

Yes.  The interaction between vinyl flooring (i.e. LVT, LVP) or hardwood flooring is known mostly when using rubber-backed mats. V-MAT is made of PVC and Polyester and it can safely be used on different types of flooring. The only exception we are aware of is a flooring brand named "FORBO"  which happens to have an ambering effect whenever it is covered and not getting exposed to light. This phenomenon has nothing to do with V-MAT and can occur with other types of floor covering. We recommend consulting with your flooring manufacturer to ascertain if there are any specific known limitations when it comes to using vinyl mats.

We currently do not ship internationally through the website, only to Canada. However, you can contact us by email and request a quote for international shipping. 

We’re happy to offer you a refund for any non-customized item that you don’t find completely satisfactory, minus a restocking fee per returned item as described below:

• Items under 5' in width are subject to a $15 processing fee per item.
• Items of 5' or over in width are subject to a $35 processing fee per item.

You have 30 days from the date you receive the product to ship it back to us. Once we’ve received the returned product in perfect condition, you’ll get the calculated refund to the original method of payment. Shipping costs and duties are not refundable. 

Custom-made products, samples and clearance items cannot be refunded or returned.

V-MAT’s actual colors will be very close to those that appear on your screen but may not match perfectly. The reason is that each screen (desktop, mobile, and tablet) is calibrated differently, and the product’s color also depends on the light source in your home. Ordering a sample can help in minimizing the uncertanitly.  If you’re a design professional with specific color-matching needs, please email us and we can work with you to ensure a more accurate color match.

If you need to cancel your order for any reason, you have 48 hours from your initial order to notify us of your cancellation. Our products are made to order and transferred to production shortly after the order has been placed. After 48 hours have passed from your order, each cancellation is subject to a fee:

• A standard order is subject to a $10 cancellation fee (after 48 hours).
• A custom order is subject to a $50 cancellation fee (after 48 hours).

Samples and clearance items orders may not be canceled at any time.

If you wish to change an existing order after 48 hours, please contact us as soon as possible and depending on its status, we'll do our best to accommodate the change without applying the cancellation fee.

While V-MAT was designed for indoor rooms, it can be used outdoors as well. However, we strongly recommend that you place it in a shady area (e.g. covered porch)  rather than under direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight can cause the colors to start fading after 2-3 years.

V-MAT does meet international anti-slip standards. However, if the floor underneath the mat is wet or humid, the V-MAT may slide. Also, if the upper surface gets wet or have excess water, it might get slippery. Therefore, we recommend using it in a dry environments only, or, avoiding placing it in a space that might get wet. If the V-MAT gets wet, please to take an extra precautious when stepping on it.

Our Vinyl mats are made of 85% PVC and 15% polyester. Our Comfort mats are made of 100% recyclable PVC.

Yes. V-MAT print is waterproof and can be washed or clean with water. It is important, however, to let it dry and not leave moisture underneath it, to avoid mold and mildew.

Also, when the upper surface of the mat gets wet, it might get slippery, therefore, it is recommended to take extra precautious until it get dry.

Yes. Our Comfort Mats are certified under the CA 01350 low-VOC standard, meaning they meet strict indoor air-quality requirements and are safe for people and pets.

Our Vinyl Mats are made under strict European environmental standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 50001), and while all new vinyl products may release trace VOCs initially, independent studies show that VOC emissions from vinyl floor coverings drop dramatically within about 10 days under normal indoor conditions. With basic ventilation, levels quickly reach very low — and safe — concentrations for everyday use. If you’re concerned about VOCs, simply unroll your mat in a well-ventilated room for a few days — fresh air helps any trace emissions dissipate quickly.

Our Comfort Mats collection is phthalate-free, and our vinyl mats are sourced from reputable suppliers who comply with EU safety regulations (REACH). These regulations strictly limit or prohibit certain harmful phthalates, including DEHP, DBP, and BBP. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure our materials meet the latest international safety requirements.
